Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) nursing position in Fort Worth, Texas, requires qualified candidates to join a dynamic surgical team. This role involves providing specialized care for neuro, general, orthopedic, robotic, urology, plastic, and transplant surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their active Texas registered nurse (RN) license on the first day of assignment.

• Required Qualifications: Active Texas RN license; 2+ years of OR experience in an acute care hospital setting, with neuroexperience preferred. Certifications required include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Robotic surgery experience; Meditech electronic medical records experience; neuro, spine, craniotomy, orthopedics, urology, plastic, heart, and transplant experience.
• Additional Information: This role involves a high volume of neuro and general surgeries, utilizing advanced equipment such as Davinci XI robots, Globus, Mako, and microscopes. Providers must adhere to dress code policies including clean, neat appearance with no artificial nails, body art, or visible piercings other than earrings. The facility will provide scrubs and expects a friendly, compassionate attitude toward patients.
