Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Description: MUST HAVE CERNER EXP, NO EXCEPTIONS

Facility Requirements:

• EMR: Cerner experience is required

Job/Unit Requirements:

• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift dates/schedule: 18:45-07:15
• Weekends Required: Every third weekend required
• License required: MO or compact license at the time of submittal
• Certifications required: BLS & NRP (NRP Advanced & PALS Preferred)
• # of years of experience required: 2 years experience required
• CERNER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - NO EXCEPTIONS!
• Skills preferred: Meds/Emergency Meds (Surfactants)
• Skills required: Endocrine/Metabolic (Blood glucose monitoring, Hyperbillirubinemia, Insulin Admin, & Phototherapy), Respiratory (Endotracheal Tube Suctioning, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Respiratory distress syndrome, Tracheostomy Management, Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)), Patient Types: Neonates 29-34 weeks, Neonates > 34 weeks
• Work Settings Required: Level 3 and Attend High Risk Deliveries
• Unit scrub color: Scrubs are provided

• Requires specific amount of exp. at least 1 year of experience
• Valid MO or compact required at time of submission
• References Required at least one reference required to submit
• No local radius rule
• Local Rules locals accepted at same rate
• Candidates will float within hospital candidates may float to all competent units within facility
• Copy of Certifications required with submission
• No specific charting exp. required
• Bill rate (for hospitals that use bidding system) rate posted
• Background Policy to be noted prior to submission client approves BG hits on a case by case basis
• Return Staff Policy must be gone for at least 1 year
• CEUs must be completed ASAP, delays may hinder compliance:
• ED/ER placements require: 4 stroke, 8 trauma, and 4 cardiac CEUs
• ICU, Neuro ICU, CCU, PCU, CVICU, CICU placements require: 8 stroke, 8 trauma, and 8 cardiac CEUs
• Tele placements require: 8 cardiac and 8 stroke CEUs
• Modules:
• Modules are non-billable
• L&D, Mother Baby, and NICU: 6-7 hours
• ED, ICU, and TELE: 4 hours
• Modules are completed pre-start
• Modules are recorded in NKCH's education system
• Attention Recruiter: Please advise the candidate that this facility maintains strict expectations for the timely completion of all assigned HealthStream modules. The candidate is responsible for regularly checking their email for new module assignments and must ensure that all deadlines are met throughout the duration of the assignment.
