Quality InspectorPositions in both Champlin & DaytonA Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, safety, and compliance before they move forward in the production process or ship to customers. This role performs detailed inspections using measurement tools, reviews drawings and specifications, and documents results with accuracy and consistency. Quality Inspectors identify defects, communicate nonconformances, and work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Perform in-process, first-article, and final inspections using measurement tools and inspection equipmentReview engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to verify product conformityDocument inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality recordsIdentify nonconformances and communicate issues to production, engineering, and quality teamsVerify revision levels on drawings, BOMs, and documentation before inspectionSupport root-cause analysis and corrective action activitiesMonitor product quality throughout production to ensure compliance with standardsUse ERP systems to record inspection data, update job status, and attach documentationMaintain a clean, organized inspection area and follow all quality proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrenceAssist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defectRequired Skills and Experience:High school diploma or GED required.Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electrical equipment or switchgear/switchboard production.Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and documentation practices.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Additional Skills and Experience:Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor) and quality management software is a plus.Benefits:PTO/ESSTPaid holidays$100 individual deductible and $300 family deductible health insurancePaid weeklyVision and Dental Insurance401K / Life Insurance / STD
