MedSurg RN (Renal) - Day Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

The MedSurg RN (Renal) will provide comprehensive patient care to adults and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical setting, with a focus on renal-related conditions. The ideal candidate will work effectively within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and monitor patients with renal failure and other associated conditions.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of MedSurg RN experience required.
• Current SC RN license or Compact license is required prior to start.
• BLS certification required.
• Willingness to float to other MedSurg units as needed.
