Vascular Sonographer - Mobile Ultrasound | Urgent Hiring | Day Shift |

Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified General/Vascular Sonographer to provide mobile ultrasound services at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other designated locations. The sonographer will travel to patient locations using a company-provided vehicle, perform physician-ordered ultrasound examinations, and transmit diagnostic-quality images to radiologists for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mobile ultrasound examinations using portable sonographic equipment.
Travel to assigned healthcare facilities and complete examinations according to the daily schedule.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and electronically transmit them to radiologists for interpretation.
Verify physician orders and confirm examination details before performing procedures.
Confirm patient identity using at least two approved patient identifiers.
Coordinate with facility staff regarding patient identification, positioning, and necessary assistance.
Follow established protocols for patient safety, infection control, and medical documentation..

Required Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
Current ARDMS or CCI registration for vascular ultrasound.
General/Vascular ultrasound candidates must hold at least RVT or RVS certification.

Certification Requirements

ARDMS or CCI registration, as applicable.
RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) certification for general/vascular ultrasound.

Schedule Options:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
