The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible to provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home environment to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental and emotional well-being possible.Responsibilities:Maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of lifeAssists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in the care planCompletes documentation of resident care as assignedReports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge NurseAttends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assignedFollows and upholds policies and procedures with a special focus on safety policies and procedures while performing personal and nursing care for residentsFollows infection control guidelinesObserves residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality, thereby helping to providing quality care and a quality life to each residentPromotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guestsPerforms all other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse, Director of Nursing and/or the Executive DirectorQualifications:The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge in accordance with statutory requirements for Certified Nurse Assistant.We are an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regard to race, marital status, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability of any other characteristic protected by law.
