Surgical Technologist

Immediate need for a talented Surgical Technologist . This is a 13 Weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Chico, CA (Onsite) . Regular Pay: $19/hr Weekly Gross Pay: $1,895.10 (subject to completion of scheduled hours) Key Responsibilities Shift: 10-hr shifts, Varied shifts, varied days off, possibly weekends, no call Scheduled Hours: 40 hours [Hours per Facility] Prepare operating rooms with surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies. Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control standards throughout surgical procedures. Assist surgeons, registered nurses, and anesthesia providers during operations. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure instruments and supplies are readily available. Perform instrument counts before, during, and after procedures. Clean and restock operating rooms following each case. Float to the outpatient Same Day Surgery Center when required. Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR. Key Requirements and Technology Experience Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist or graduation from an accredited Operating Room Technician program. Current BLS/CPR Certification required. Experience in an acute care hospital operating room preferred. Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled. State license not required.
