Master Scheduler (Punxsutawney)

Movement Search & Delivery is conducting a confidential search for a Master Scheduler with a company that is a global supplier of industrial components to the agricultural, automotive, and aerospace markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based around Punxsutawney, PA.

What You Will Do:

1. Implement and maintain production plans based on planning and sequencing rules.
2. Maintain production planning and scheduling integrity.
3. Analyze customer’s daily/weekly product requirements to develop an appropriate production schedule to meet customer shipment schedules.
4. Evaluate machine, plant, and people capacity to balance current and forecasted plant production loading, making recommendations when needed in order to meet the production plan.
5. Focus on maintaining production levels within capacity levels, allocations, and budgeted guidelines.
6. Focus on management of inventory levels to ensure plant inventory objectives are met.
7. Examine, analyze, and perform mathematical calculations to determine process flow and/or staffing requirements.
8. Review factors that affect production schedules and serve as the approval authority for changes and updates to production plans for overall customer commitments.
9. Maintain planning parameters within the business system to include but not limited to safety stock, manufacturing lead times (including subcon supplier lead times), order periods, planner codes, etc.
10. Work closely with production supervisors when customers’ order releases require immediate production schedule revisions.
11. Assist with expediting items within the production schedule when delays occur, or customer requirements dictate.

What You Need to Succeed:

● Bachelors degree preferred

● 3+ years experience as a Master Scheduler or related position

● Experience in a plant manufacturing environment

● Good communication skills
