The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.****THE ROLE****Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Street Marketing Intern to join the Marketing team in Calabasas. This role will support the Street Marketing team through a combination of in-office administrative coordination, onsite event support, grassroots marketing execution, and research projects while gaining hands-on experience in live event and promotional marketing. This position reports to the Manager, Street Marketing. This is a paid internship and is not a remote position.****RESPONSIBILITIES***** Support the Street Marketing team with day-to-day administrative tasks and project coordination* Assist with preparing marketing materials, flyers, signage, and promotional assets for upcoming events and campaigns* Conduct research on local markets, community events, audience trends, and grassroots marketing opportunities* Assist with tracking inventory, managing supplies, and maintaining organization of marketing storage areas* Provide general support for special projects and other duties assigned by the Street Marketing team****QUALIFICATIONS***** Must be at least 18 years of age* Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university* Must be able to work out of Calabasas, CA office and greater Los Angeles area as needed* Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail* Typical commitment is 16-29 hours per week* Basic knowledge of Google Workspace preferred* Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude* Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small* Comfortable working outdoors, on foot, and independently for extended periods.* Physically able to carry, hang, and distribute material* Comfortable engaging with the public and representing the brand professionally onsite* Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands****WORK ENVIRONMENT***** Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times* Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines* Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates while working on site at various event location* Must be able to work in open concept office space**Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.******EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY****We aspire to build teams that reflect and support the fans and artists we serve.
