Mechanical Engineer

Duties
Providing expert engineering advice and oversight on facilities, reviewing designs and specifications, and ensuring accuracy in engineering requirements.
Serving as a point of contact for all engineering-related issues within specified locations, overseeing projects, and liaising with various engineering authorities.
Analyzing space requirements, developing alternatives, and managing engineering studies and special projects, including the development of facilities layouts for unique INSCOM missions.
Offering guidance on building operations and maintenance, resolving operational problems, and developing design documents for system modifications.
Managing contracts and providing oversight to ensure compliance with U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command requirements.
Managing minor construction and repair projects, prioritizing submissions, developing funding plans, and providing recommendations for furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Coordinating with various officials, acting as a spokesperson, and presenting briefings and information to higher headquarters and other governmental officials.
