Registered Respiratory Therapist

Home Health – Per Diem Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (Boynton Beach FL)Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments in the home.Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory treatment plans.Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, airway clearance therapy, and ventilator management.Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory disease management, medications, equipment use, infection prevention, and home safety.Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.Participate in care conferences to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.Assist with the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of home respiratory equipment, including oxygen concentrators, CPAP/BiPAP devices, suction machines, and ventilators.Support quality improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with CMS, ACHC, HIPAA, and Florida Home Health regulations.Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.Current Florida Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT).Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred).Valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.Minimum of two (2) years of recent respiratory care experience.One (1) year of Home Health experience.Experience managing home oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilators.Experience using electronic medical records (EMR).Passionate about providing exceptional patient care.Independent, organized, and self-motivated.Strong critical thinkers with excellent assessment skills.Effective communicators who enjoy educating patients and caregivers.Team players who collaborate well with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.Flexible scheduling options.One-on-one patient care.Supportive interdisciplinary team.Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education.Meaningful work that positively impacts patients and families.Competitive compensation.Mileage reimbursement (if applicable).Collaborative and patient-centered culture.If you're ready to take your respiratory therapy career into the community and provide compassionate, high-quality care where patients feel most comfortable, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today and help patients breathe easier—one home at a time.This role requires a screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
