Asleep Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a part‑time asleep overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our adult foster care home in Cambridge, MN. As a DSP, you will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most fulfilling lives. No prior experience or certifications are required to get started in this exciting and rewarding field! The Centennial program is located in Cambridge, a few blocks away from Cambridge High School. The program supports women ranging in age from their 20s‑60s with cognitive disabilities, developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy. Shift Details Shift: 10:00pm-8:00am. Every other weekend is required. 18+ is required. 30 hours per week. Awake hours: 10:00pm-12:00am and 6:00am-8:00am. Asleep hours: 12:00am-6:00am. Compensation Salary: $12.00 per hour for asleep hours, $18.75‑$19.25 per hour for awake hours. What You’ll Do as a DSP You will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most fulfilling lives. You will assist in a variety of day‑to‑day tasks based on the needs and goals of the people you are caring for. Duties may include medication administration, household duties, behavioral management, assistance with personal hygiene and medical cares, and community activities such as shopping, concerts, going out to eat, movies, fitness, outdoor recreation, and more. You will develop meaningful relationships and be part of a person‑centered culture that values the people we support and team members. Your schedule will typically include 4–8 hour shifts with hours scheduled during the week and every other weekend. We support people 24/7 and have a variety of shift times available.
