Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy role is available for an Indiana-licensed pharmacist to provide professional staffing coverage in a hospital community pharmacy setting. The position requires 4-5 days per week (32 to 40 hours), with weekday shifts primarily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Coverage preferably includes Thursdays and Fridays, along with every other Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This contract opportunity starts as soon as possible and involves working in a retail-focused environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately filling medication orders and performing final checks on technician-prepared products before dispensing.
- Ensuring the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances at all times.
- Entering orders and patient information with high attention to detail.
- Collaborating with pharmacy staff to maintain operational efficiency and patient safety.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active Indiana pharmacy license.
- Prior retail pharmacy experience.
- Familiarity with the PioneerRx order entry system is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong commitment to compliance and accuracy in all pharmacy procedures.
Location: This opportunity is based in a hospital community pharmacy located in Winamac, Indiana.
