Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratios of 4 - Charting system experience with Epic preferred Description: Winter bill rate increase will be effective from October 4, 2026, through February 27, 2027. Cancellations due to the rate change after signature will result in a systemwide Do Not Return. Travelers will cover the Observation Unit which includes ER hold patients. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless it is for an agreed-upon interview. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. If required for the assignment, providers will be supplied with communication devices needed to perform duties. Providers will be responsible for submitting monthly cell phone bills for work-related use. Must include references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years during the compliance process. Can include charge RNs or lead staff as references. Patients include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census averages around 105 with approximately 135 visits per day. Patient diagnoses will include a wide range of emergency medical conditions. Orientation hours will be provided.
