Here, you will make an impact by:Responsible for Global Planning of Semi-Finished and Finished Goods through multiple value streamsProactively identifies gaps, and implements solutions to ensure Supply continuity to our customersCollaborates cross functionally with Global Supply Chain Operations and EMSD business to optimize service, inventory, and costs through the end to end Supply ChainLeads process improvement projects in support of EMSD Planning objectivesAccountable for driving results for 3M and our customers as measured by Key Process Indicators (Inventory, Service, and Cost)Plans & coordinates the supply of product through multiple subcontractors and 3M PlantsSupports New Product IntroductionsYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Five (5) years of Supply Chain Planning in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain / Operations Management from an accredited institutionMaster's degree in Business / Supply Chain from an accredited institutionSeven (7) years of Supply Chain Planning in a private, public, government or military environmentProficiency with 3M Planning Systems and Microsoft 365 ApplicationsContinuous Improvement Project leadership experienceExperience within multiple supply chain roles (demand, supply, production planning)Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skillsExperience working on cross-functional and international teamsWork location:This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.Travel: May include up to 10% domesticRelocation: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
