Server Assistants (also known as bussers) support servers and contribute to an outstanding dining experience by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, assisting with beverages, and responding to guest needs. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people, working as part of a team, and keeping the dining room flowing smoothly. Bussers help ensure quick table turnover and an efficient, welcoming atmosphere for guests.What You'll DoCreate a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests with a friendly attitudeAssist dining room staff by clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently between guestsRemove used dishes, glassware, cutlery, and napkins and bring them to the kitchen areaStock bus stations, clean glassware, refill drinks, and restock supplies as neededReplenish table settings, utensils, condiments, and water glasses throughout serviceRespond to guest needs by observing service flow and assisting servers as neededSupport bartenders and servers by helping serve beverages and deliver food when requestedProtect the dining environment by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policiesTake on additional duties as needed—including bussing, hosting support, food running, and assisting with to-go ordersWhat We're Looking ForCollaborative, team-oriented attitude with a focus on guest satisfactionAbility to identify and respond to guest needs in a friendly, service-oriented mannerProfessional and polished image that welcomes guestsEffective verbal communication skills with guests and coworkersAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)Position available to 14–15-year-olds, making this a great entry-level hospitality opportunityPhysical RequirementsStand and walk for extended periodsLift up to 20 lbs and perform repetitive motions throughout your shift
