Technician's responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing all manufacturing equipment in a glass factory, performing routine servicing and inspections, reading manuals, troubleshooting rotating equipment using PLC or multimeter.The ideal candidate will have strong electrical skills and good mechanical background, enjoy performing tasks with your hands and use a wide range of resources to solve machine operating problemsKey Responsibilities and Duties:Advanced troubleshooting of any down equipmentInstalling, repairing, maintaining electronic components and systems for manufacturing equipmentSourcing replacement parts for electrical and mechanical systemsSupport operations teams to ensure timely completion of tasks in line with safety protocolsCompleting scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing of equipmentAssist other technicians as assigned and neededFollow written, verbal and process instructionsResponsible for continuous operation of facility and production equipmentWorks with contractors to complete assigned tasksCompetent working with production machinery, HVAC systems, cranes, utility systems, air compressors, CNC machines, ovensKnowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Office, Excel, Word and Google SuiteQualifications:Minimum of 3-5 years' experience supporting maintenance in a manufacturing environmentExperience in glass manufacturing (preferred)Journeyman or Graduate in Electricity (preferred)Excellent time management and organizational skillsPhysical Demands:Amount of Time Spent Performing Activities:Standing: Up to 2/3 of the shiftWalking: Up to 1/3 of the shiftRequired Physical Strength and Movement:Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs frequentlyMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyMust be able to assist with team lifting of loads exceeding 50 lbs occasionallyMust be able to stand for the entire length of the shift (up to 10 hours)Must be able to work in and around manufacturing and production equipmentFrequent climbing of ladders, bending, stooping, standing, walking, twisting, kneeling, and reachingMust be able to see and hear to acknowledge critical safety instructions, alarms, forklift traffic, and perform quality and equipment inspectionsMust be able to sustain repetitive movement of both upper and lower extremities with varying degrees of forceMust be able to push and pull up to 100 pounds of force regularly, including moving pallets, carts, glass/plastic sheets, and boxes using a hand truck or similar equipmentWhat We Offer: In addition to a great team environment, 3form offers a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
