Dental Assistant

ShiftKey, LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant to support quality patient care in a flexible, tech-enabled environment. You'll prepare treatment rooms, set up and sterilize instruments, assist dentists chairside, take and process digital X-rays, and maintain accurate patient records. You'll educate patients on oral hygiene, manage supplies, and follow strict infection control and safety protocols. Working with a collaborative clinical team, you'll adapt to different facilities, technologies, and workflows while delivering professional, compassionate care in a mission-driven, fast-paced setting. Prepare treatment rooms and organize instruments and materials for procedures Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during exams and treatments Take, process, and document digital dental X-rays in compliance with regulations Perform sterilization and infection control per OSHA and CDC standards Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic dental charts Educate patients on post-treatment care and basic oral hygiene practices Monitor and manage dental inventory and supply levels Adapt quickly to different dental practice workflows and technologies Follow all HIPAA, safety, and facility-specific policies and procedures Chairside assisting Dental radiography (X-rays) Infection control and sterilization Dental instruments and tray setup Electronic dental records (EDR) Four-handed dentistry Dental terminology Impression taking and models Patient scheduling and workflow OSHA and HIPAA compliance Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred State dental radiography certification as required Current CPR/BLS certification #J-18808-Ljbffr Reporter Newspapers
