Qualifications Strong understanding of various underground hard rock mining methods and mine systems. Caving experience is plus Experience with implementation of new technologies Proficiency in Deswik Software Suite (CAD, Sched, IS, SO) Proficiency in compiling and presenting data (PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong communication and critical thinking skills Experience in working on a team of multiple engineering disciplines Be a driver of safety in your project work and onsite Promote a positive and collaborative work culture Education and Experience 4+ years of relevant industry experience Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution Operations experience in underground hard rock mining is required Experience in building new projects from the ground up in Deswik mine planning applications is required Professional Engineer or SME Registered Member is a plus. Typical office environment working with computers. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
