Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an experienced Senior Production Program Manager (Level M) for a 12‑18 month International Temporary Assignment (ITA) in the United Kingdom, leading the production build of the United States Air Force E‑7 rapid prototype aircraft. This high‑visibility role involves extensive interaction with senior Boeing leaders and key customers within the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers Division. The US home base for this role will be Oklahoma City, OK. Position Responsibilities Lead and manage the USAF E‑7 modification programs, ensuring alignment with production performance goals. Drive production performance to meet cost and schedule targets, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Support executive‑level customer engagements, providing updates on program status and addressing questions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement across all program facets. Serve as the primary interface with the E‑7 program leadership team regarding production activity and performance plans. Provide cross‑functional leadership across BDUK, BDA, BDS, and third‑party modification suppliers to ensure cohesive program execution. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, interim manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager). 1+ year of experience in a customer‑facing role engaging with internal and/or external customers. Demonstrated ability to work within a fast‑paced team environment requiring strong communication skills and frequent interaction with program leadership, customers, and development teams. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher. Practical Considerations Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa and satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the United Kingdom. Candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required); interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance required after start. Up to 5% travel may be required. This position is 100% onsite in the U.K. Benefits & Compensation Competitive base pay with variable compensation opportunities; the total pay range for this role is $218,450 – $295,550.
