Pay & Benefits:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide specialized Cardiothoracic, Vascular, and General Surgery procedures.
• Perform coronary artery bypass surgeries, valve repairs/replacements, aneurysm repair, and lung resections (including VATS).
• Manage complex chest wall and pleural procedures, esophageal and diaphragm surgeries.
• Conduct carotid and renal endarterectomies, ventilation management, and bronchoscopy.
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute volume and blood pressure issues.
• Collaborate with onsite radiology and laboratory teams using EPIC documentation system.
• Support hospital operations as needed during scheduled call shifts.

What You Need:
Required:

• Valid Ohio medical license and applicable certifications
• Proven experience in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery
• Ability to perform complex surgical procedures listed above

Preferred:

• Board certification in surgery or related specialty
• Previous locum or hospital-based experience

About the Assignment:
Bon Secours Mercy Health Springfield Regional Medical Center is a full-service, acute care hospital with 250 beds and 60 ICU beds. The facility boasts onsite lab and x-ray services and utilizes the EPIC documentation system. This assignment involves providing emergent and scheduled surgical care for adult patients in a busy hospital setting.
