divh2Registered Nurse (RN) On Call Position/h2pThe RN would be on call from Friday at 4:30 pm until Monday at 8:00 am (eastern). The RN would be responsible to cover any as-needed visits that arise, as well as scheduled weekend visits including admission visits. Compensation will include an on-call stipend PLUS pay per visit for each visit completed. The Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Licensing or registration is required./ph3Essential Duties And Responsibilities/h3ulliOn call from Friday at 4:30 pm until Monday at 8:00 am (Eastern)/liliMust cover any as-needed visits that arise, as well as schedule weekend visits, including admission visits/liliProvide skilled nursing treatments as ordered by the clients doctor/liliComplete evaluation tasks, including vital signs and medication reviews/liliCoordinate with physicians, therapists, and other individuals in the clients care plan/liliAssess and chart observations of the clients condition at each visit/liliMaintain complete and accurate documentation of nursing care/liliWork collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team/liliProvide education to clients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies/liliRecord patients medical information and vital signs/liliMonitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients conditions/liliAdminister local, inhalation, intravenous, or another anesthetic/liliPrepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments/liliModify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients responses and conditions/liliOrder, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients condition/liliMonitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity/liliEngage in research activities and participation in formal educational training activities related to nursing/liliPerform other duties as assigned/li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)/h3ulliMust be available on weekends from Friday 4:30 pm until Monday 8:00 am (Eastern)/liliAssociates degree required; Graduate of an accredited state-approved, Bachelors Degree from a school of nursing preferred/liliCurrent and valid California Registered Nurse License/liliPrior nursing experience, specifically in home health (preferred)/liliCurrent CPR certification (required)/liliDrivers License/liliCar Insurance/liliCar Registration/liliStrong interpersonal skills that build personal rapport and establish trust with the client/liliComputer literate/liliStrong organizational skills/liliExcellent written and communication skills/liliAbility to meet physical demands of the job (ex: lifting 50 pounds for transfers)/liliHome health care experience/liliBilingual (Spanish) preferred/li/ulh3Physical Demands And Work Environment/h3ulliThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position successfully.
