Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Pay: $34.89 - $40.89 per hour, paid bi‑weekly. Location: BTLC Gowanda, New York, United States. Work Type: Part‑time, benefit eligible. Shift: 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., weekdays with weekend/holiday requirement, on‑call and rotating coverage. Work Arrangement: Onsite. Job Description Direct Patient Care : triage patients, assess condition, notify providers of acuity, carry out provider orders, administer prescribed medications, perform prescribed treatments/procedures, transfer or discharge patients per TLC policy. Compliance : adhere to NYS DOH regulations, standards of nursing practice, AOA, OSHA, COBRA, patient rights, DNV, HIPAA, and other relevant standards. Obtain consents/releases per hospital policy. Safety : maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment; use safe techniques; report safety, staffing, and quality concerns through the chain of command; apply emergency protocols as needed. Quality : participate in unit‑based quality improvement initiatives; monitor key processes such as patient safety, medication errors, operative procedures, adverse events, restraint usage, pain management, infection prevention, patient flow, customer satisfaction, and readmissions. Professionalism : keep current licensure, health requirements, in‑service training, and organizational policies. Engage in professional growth through seminars, workshops, conferences, continuing education, and orientation programs. Exhibit courteous, professional behavior toward patients, visitors, staff, coworkers, and the community. Organizational Standards : meet performance standards; handle multiple priorities; act swiftly; apply critical thinking; delegate duties as needed; follow departmental and organizational policies, safety, environmental and infection control protocols, and ISO 9001 standards. Perform other duties as requested. Education and Credentials Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required. New York State licensure with current registration.
