Mon 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Tue 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Thur 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter theft-related incidents.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, report observed policy violations or suspicious behavior, and maintain awareness of high-traffic areas and merchandise locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with store management, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Complete required reports, document incidents and observations, and maintain professional interactions with the public while following site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
