Physical Therapist Assistant

We looking for a dynamic Physical Therapist Assistant to join our

beautiful Northern Neck region of Virginia.

Our Physical Therapist Assistants work directly with patients in a

one-on-one approach in 45 minute appointment slots to deliver the care

and attention each patient deserves. We are a Physical Therapist-owned

clinic, and emphasize treating patients in a holistic manner. If you

have the passion for practicing hands-on therapy together with advanced

techniques we have the desire to work with you!

We offer a competitive salary, sign-on bonus, quarterly bonus opportunities, generous continuing education stipend, and benefits including vacation and holiday pay. Salary will commensurate with

Requirements:

• Current state PTA license
• Knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, and techniques of Physical Therapy.
• Current CPR certification
• Graduate of an Accredited PTA Program

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing patients’ medical histories
• Use of modalities as needed
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
• Recording patients’ progress and modifying the plan of care if needed
• Educating patients and family members about the recovery process
• Supervision of Physical Therapy Aides
