Our client is looking for an experienced, well‑rounded Marine Service Technician who enjoys a mix of diagnostics, mechanical work, and hands‑on time in the yard. Tucked along a quiet, protected creek just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay, this opportunity offers more than just a job; it’s a chance to work where people go to unwind. What This Role Involves This is a hands‑on technician role supporting a range of service work across multiple systems. Diagnosing and repairing marine engines and systems Working with inboard and outboard engines Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Completing routine service and preventative maintenance Supporting a clean, organized, and efficient service operation Supporting the operations of the yard as needed, including travel lift operation Winterizing and commissioning Requirements 3+ years of hands‑on marine service experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple systems Experience with Mercury/MerCruiser and Yanmar engines Exposure to plumbing and HVAC systems is highly valued Ability to work independently and contribute to a team Ability to operate a marine travel lift Certifications (Valued, Not Required) Mercury / MerCruiser ABYC Systems or similar Paid Time Off Upcoming 401K $35 - $45 per hour to commensurate with experience Housing available for negotiation If you have the experience and take pride in your work, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr Compass Maritime Group
