Job Description Summary Mechanic Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment, ensuring the safest and most effective methods to avoid downtime. Maintain a fleet that includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines such as large‑scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment. Work with a safety‑focused team to address changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired. 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas equipment) strongly preferred. Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs. May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade. Physical Demands Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, working indoors/outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.
