Speech and Language Pathologist in Norfolk, VA

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in an elementary school setting located in the Norfolk, VA area. This role supports students at Pembroke Elementary, working closely with the school community to enhance speech and language development for young learners. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective treatment plans. Monitor and document each student’s progress throughout the contract duration. Participate in team meetings and support extended school year services. Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and school policies. Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathology license required. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to start immediately and commit through June15 with the option to extend during the summer.
