Obtains customer information by engaging in ongoing conversations with key decision‑makers firsthand and uses the information to improve the customer product offerings and services. Capitalizes on sales opportunities and focuses on account retention with an account ownership mentality. Compensation Hourly rate: $20.56 to $20.56. Job Responsibilities Meet sales expectations and promote overall route growth, service agreement renewal, and customer retention to enhance the profitability of the market center. Identify opportunities to solicit new business and increase revenue through selling new items to current customers and obtaining new accounts. Establish and maintain effective and respectful relationships with customers and provide outstanding customer service by adopting an account ownership mentality. Focus on account retention and seek opportunities to improve the account by being the first/primary responder to all customer issues and opportunities. Ensure products are loaded/unloaded safely, correct items and quantities are delivered on the scheduled day, merchandise is stocked, rotated, and all equipment is maintained and cleaned. Operate company vehicles safely and courteously while following traffic rules. Verify daily vehicle preventive maintenance and keep the truck interior clean, organized, and safe. Comply with all DOT requirements. Respect both customer and Aramark assets. Install and maintain appropriate inventory levels at customer locations and ensure proper quality and working condition. Maintain a complete and accurate accounting of all monies and products daily in accordance with established guidelines. Practice attentive listening and effective communication under adverse conditions through internal and external communication processes. Communicate with GM, RSM, CSM, and CSA’s regarding customers and report pending problems or evidence of competitors in customer locations. Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice. Qualifications 1‑2 years of experience in a position requiring heavy public contact. High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT certification for DOT‑regulated vehicles. Clean driving record for five years. Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with clients and operations staff. Ability to respond quickly to changing demands. Proficiency or trainability to sell products to customers. Good interpersonal skills and customer service skills. Acceptable driving record in accordance with CMV policy and a valid driver’s license. Client interaction, communication, organization, and time‑management skills are critical to the success of this role. Ability to work efficiently and independently.
