The Assistant Baseball Coach is a full-time twelve-month limited term appointment.This positionis responsible for assisting with allfacetsof planning, organizing, and leading a highly competitiveNCAADivision III Baseball program through the recruitment of qualitystudent-athletesand successful coaching of those individuals.This positionwillreportto the Athletic Director.Anticipated start date 8/17/26

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Organize, supervise,coordinate,and evaluate practice sessions with proper attention toplayer'sphysical and mental well-being.

• Recruit qualitystudent-athletesandretainthem as instructed by the head coach.

• Prepare athletes todemonstrateuniversity-level performance during competitive events.

• Promote athletics attheUniversity of Wisconsin-Stout.

• Research and implement new findings for refining skills and coaching techniques.

• Adhere to, and remain in compliance with NCAA, WIAC, and UW-Stout rules and regulations.

• Help develop and maintainrelationships with alumni, boosters, etc.

• Maintain positive community relationships.

• Maintain rapport with high school athletic programs.

• This position is a mandated reporter under the Jeanne Clery Act as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).

Compensation:

Minimum starting salary of $45,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Two Years of playing and/or coaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree

Recruiting Experience

College playing and/or coaching experience
