Forklift Operator

We are seeking Forklift Operators in Northlake, IL. Multiple shifts and days off are available. Direct hire with benefits and PTO eligibility from day 1. Responsibilities Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks. Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) during receipt and staging. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following TSA and OSHA guidelines. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other specified equipment safely. Perform other duties as assigned. Key Skills & Competencies Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap material. Experience using an RF scan gun is required. Previous forklift certifications preferred. Must be able to work overtime as needed, including occasional weekends. Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well. Must be able to work well with others with little supervision. High attention to detail required. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. 1 year experience with sit‑down forklift and 1 year warehouse experience required. Work Environment & Physical Requirements The position requires standing and walking for extended periods. Employees must frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, bend, and lift objects above their head. Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts.
