Description - External UH St. John Medical Center provides residents of western Cuyahoga and eastern Lorain counties with high-quality health care in a faith-based Catholic hospital setting, including a Level 3 trauma center. What can I do as a NAII? NA IIs work under the direction of an RN to provide safe, efficient, age‑specific care to patients and families to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and/or sustain optimal health status. Responsibilities include: Responsibilities Direct patient care delivery, including but not limited to: ADLs/hygiene Vital signs I&O Bladder scanning EKG Glucometer & other point of care testing (where applicable) Restraints Communication and documentation of interventions and observations Participation in quality improvement process Involved in learning and self‑improvement Initiates and maintains a positive relationship with patients/customers and coworkers Why choose UH as a Student Nurse?
