Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Accessioner to support our client’s medical facility in Fishersville,VA. This is a 3+ months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Accessioner

Location: Fishersville, VA 22939

Pay Rate: $17 - $18.50/hr. on W2.

Shift: Mon - Fri 10am-6:30pm

Duration: 3+ months

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

\n
• Process and handle laboratory specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples
\n
• Receive, identify, and organize patient specimens for testing
\n
• Enter and manage clinical information in the LIMS database
\n
• Work closely with laboratory staff and other departments
\n
• Ensure specimens and information are processed accurately and efficiently
\n
• Receive and triage specimens for clinical testing
\n
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
\n
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen information in LIMS
\n
• Perform internal audits of clinical records
\n
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure testing accuracy
\n
• Follow laboratory procedures and quality standards
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• High school diploma or equivalent
\n
• Laboratory, specimen processing, phlebotomy, or production experience preferred
\n
• Phlebotomy experience required
\n
• Good computer skills
\n
