About the Role:
Tyson Holsters is looking for an energetic and organized Gun Show Manager to lead our presence at gun shows and events in and around Ohio/Michigan/Indiana. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your passion for firearms with hands-on retail and event management experience. Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of gun show booth setup, operations, and teardown
• Oversee on-site sales of holsters and related accessories, ensuring an exceptional customer experience
• Manage inventory, product displays, and merchandising at each show
• Handle cash, card transactions, and point-of-sale operations accurately
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, and gun show promoters
• Check in with promotor the day before show opening to set up for gun shows
• Hours of gun shows vary by promotor but are usually 9-5 on Saturday, and either 9-4 or 10-5 on Sunday.
• Monitor competitor activities within the territory.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in retail management, event management, or a related field
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel to gun shows and events on weekends
• Physical ability to lift, transport, and set up booth equipment and inventory
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must have a reliable vehicle capable of towing a small trailer, and be able to store company trailer at your residence
• Must be available Fri-Sun and occasionally on Thursday
• Must be able to legally possess firearms

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales, direct sales, or B2B sales environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales metrics.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage potential customers effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present product demos confidently.
• Ability to manage multiple customers while maintaining attention to detail in all interactions.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results in a fast-paced environment.

This is a commission based position, with a minimum guarantee, with uncapped earning potential. We have a tried and true selling system, combined with a very successful USA made product line. Company 401(k).
