Nutrition Care Associate – Food & Nutrition Services Hours: Full time (40 hours) Shift: Days 5:30am to 2:00pm (rotating weekends and holidays). Benefits Eligible: Yes – Uniforms are provided. Job Functions Perform a variety of food and guest service duties under general supervision, including patient meal tray assembly and delivery, cashier duties, food assembly, food serving, and cleaning. Essential Functions Deliver and present trays to patients using the standard process. Perform food preparation functions according to system standards, such as preparing salads, sandwiches, vegetables, and fruit. Follow standardized practices relating to Nutrition Services (dining experience, meal delivery, maintaining required stock levels). Perform housekeeping functions: cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floor care, equipment (oven, fryer, hood). Perform accurate cash/credit transactions and independently resolve basic customer service issues. Skills Active listening. Coordinating tasks with others. Guest focused. Communicates clearly. Attention to detail. Qualifications Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day of work (required only in Utah and Idaho). Demonstrated ability to work with modified diets (preferred). Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service (preferred). Physical Requirements Ability to see and read information, labels, monitors; assess customer needs. Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment; frequent use of computer, phone, cable setup. Expected to lift, transport, pull, and push equipment; work on hands and knees, bend, set‑up, troubleshoot, lift items up to heavy weights. Stand for long periods; tolerate extremes in temperature; exposure to cleaning chemicals. Location Holy Rosary Hospital, MilesCity, Montana.
