Material Handler I

Job TitleEnsure the accurate receipt and shipping of material while providing service to internal and external customers.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. WE ARE TSE.Safety training to perform this job successfully, an individual must complete and maintain safety training according to the safety training matrix.Education and/or experience: high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Able to operate Microsoft Windows or equivalent.Certificates, licenses, registrations: must have a valid driver's license. Forklift experience preferred.Language skills: ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively to peers and management regarding all facets of job responsibilities.Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Reasoning ability: ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
