Business Office Manager - Senior Living

Overview The Ashford on Broad is seeking a Business Office Manager to supervise and direct the daily operations of the business office and supportive services within a senior living community. The role is part of the building’s management team and focuses on reducing turnover, managing expenses, and achieving excellence in community operations. Responsibilities Process community billing and send monthly statements to Residents/POA. Manage collections: process payments each month and follow up on late or incorrect payments from all payors. Maintain documents/data to assist Corporate Accounting in Medicaid claims/billing. Coordinate with staff on timekeeping, personnel paperwork, and scheduling. Complete Resident Agreements and maintain Resident/Front Office filing systems. Supervise day-to-day front office functions of the receptionist. Process Accounts Payables and coordinate with other departments on coding and processing. Maintain office and computer equipment within policy guidelines. Communicate significant issues with Regional BOM. Perform other related duties as assigned. About You High School Diploma or equivalent required. Extensive office experience required. 2 years of previous management experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication with coworkers, residents, family members, and business partners. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to make complex decisions requiring good judgment. Decisions affect the overall operation of the Community.
