Psychiatrist (MD/DO) | Fort Liberty, NC | Military Health System
Are you a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist seeking a meaningful opportunity to serve those who serve our nation?
We are actively recruiting a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join a multidisciplinary behavioral health team supporting the Military Health System at Fort Liberty, North Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care to active-duty service members, military families, and retirees in a collaborative clinical environment.
Position Highlights
- Monday–Friday Schedule
- Adult Outpatient and Inpatient Psychiatry
- Malpractice paid
- Competitive Compensation - $250.00 per hour
- Please note this is not a telehealth position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of psychiatric conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing a biopsychosocial approach
- Provide medication management and psychotherapy services
- Perform crisis intervention and risk assessments
- Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, and behavioral health providers
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Current, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
- Strong interpersonal and clinical communication skills
