Senior Web DeveloperThe Web Developer executes full stack development in order to provide support and develop features for custom web based applications.Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:Analyze, design and develop modern websites using Symfony, ReactJS and VueSupports PHP 7+, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB and MySQLEnsure compatibility with all major digital devices and browsersWrite clear, well-structured OOP and tested codeProduce internal/external documentation of application architecture and codeAnalyze and resolve security issues with ICC applications and websitesReview code from other developers on relevant projects and provide comments and guidanceReview performance monitoring software and alerts managers to potential risks and issuesParticipate in sprint-planning activities including standups, retros, and architecture meetingsNon-Technical Skills:Ability to work and deliver against aggressive timelines to meet the project schedulesAbility to work in a high energy, team focused environmentAbility to establish positive working relationships with multiple disciplines of Information technology department and staff levelsDemonstrated ability to collaborate and receive feedback regarding ongoing projectsDemonstrated ability to respond to business issues with the appropriate sense of urgencyAbility to organize and manage multiple projects and assignments with minimum directionProblem solving skills and strong attention to detailsAbility to identify and document business/system requirementsSelf-starter with outstanding written and verbal communication skillsTechnical Skills:BS/BA degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience4+ years of web development experience with an emphasis towards web applications or high profile websites4+ years strong development experience in PHP, HTML, JavaScript, XML, XSLTKnowledge of MySQL, familiarity with design and architecture of relational databasesStrong experience with version control systems like Git/SVN and structured deployment practicesExperience with PHP MVC Frameworks like Symfony is a plusKnowledge of user interface/web usability and information architecture principles3+ years systems analysis experience, including requirements gathering, functional design, and technical designExperience with web services and 3rd party API integrationResponsive and mobile development experienceWorking knowledge of web browser technology, features and functionalityStrong understanding of the security and performance requirements for high volume websitesExperience with Agile software methodology HireTalent
