Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Location: Lamar, CO 81052
Contract: 9 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM–2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $1,000–$1,767/Week (Based on Experience)
On-Call: Rotating nights and weekends
Position Type: Travel

Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to provide technical support during surgical procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety. The role also includes sterile processing responsibilities.

• Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique and pass instruments during surgical procedures.
• Perform accurate instrument, sponge, and supply counts.
• Assist with specimen preparation and surgical dressings.
• Inspect, clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments.
• Operate sterilization equipment and perform required testing.
• Verify sterility and ensure instruments are in proper working condition.
• Restock operating rooms and maintain surgical supply inventory.
• Support surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers as part of the surgical team.

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• Minimum 5 years of current Surgical Technologist experience .
• Current Colorado Surgical Technologist registration required.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile processing standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be available for rotating on-call nights and weekends.
• May be required to stay late based on surgical case volume.
