Maintenance Equipment Technician III (3rd shift Tues-Sat 10PM to 7AM)

AbbVie seeks a Maintenance Equipment Technician III for third-shift operations at its Branchburg facility. The role involves preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of process and facility equipment while supporting 24/7 operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and demand maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and process equipment across the facility
- Execute and coordinate predictive maintenance activities including vibration analysis, oil analysis, and infrared heat mapping
- Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and calibrate field instrumentation to minimize downtime
- Document all maintenance activities in CMMS system with failure codes, corrective actions, and parts usage
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests during off-shifts and conduct maintenance-related training as required
Requirements
- High school diploma with 10+ years maintenance experience, or relevant certificate with 5+ years, or associate technical degree with 3+ years
- Knowledge and ability to use advanced diagnostic and predictive maintenance tools
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Windows
- Troubleshooting and repair skills for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems and process equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with operators and engineers
- CMRT or equivalent maintenance and reliability certification preferred
