Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification

• ACLS certification.
• Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment.
• Experience with oxygen, aerosol, and nebulizer devices.
• Experience performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, and capnography monitoring.
• Experience with 12-Lead EKG and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Experience performing pulmonary function studies.
• Experience assisting with bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and chest tube placement.
• Experience with tracheostomy care, including insertion and removal of tracheostomy tubes.
• Experience performing arterial puncture.
• Experience with mechanical ventilation setup, self-testing, operation, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Experience performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to BLS and ACLS guidelines.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift.
• Assignment length: 13 weeks.
