Join the Dam Dog House Team!

We are currently hiring a part time position for our Dog Handling/Kennel Attendant Team.

Starting pay is $12/hr and can be increased for the right qualifications.

Job Description:

• Check In and Check Out for daycare and boarding.
• Knowledge of the computer System for communication, accounts, transactions and money handling.
• Kennel Work, Feeding and Medication administration (As Needed) and cleaning.
• Enrichment and play with the dogs during the day.
• Problem solving and observation with the dog groups to make sure every dog's experience is fun and safe.
• Keeping calm and separating dogs should a fight break out, while maintaining your own safety.
• Keeping daycare clean and organized for the next shift.
• Working independently and being able to keep the dogs engaged while completing cleaning and side work before shift is complete.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing.
• Must have minimum of 2-5 years experience professionally working with dogs (large animals and other animal experience will be accepted.)
• Must be comfortable working indepentely and still be efficient.
• Able to learn Paw Partners computer system.
• Able to lift at least 50lbs, able to bend and move quickly, and able to stand for 5+ hours at a time.
• Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
