Global Star is hiring an Entry Level Event Marketing and Sales Assistant to join our growing team in Birmingham, AL. This is an excellent opportunity for outgoing, motivated individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in event marketing, sales, customer service, brand promotion, and client relations.

No extensive marketing or sales experience is required. We provide comprehensive training and are looking for people who enjoy working with others, communicate confidently, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

As an Event Marketing and Sales Assistant, you will work directly with customers, businesses, and client brands at events and promotional campaigns throughout the Birmingham area. You’ll gain practical experience in customer engagement, sales, campaign execution, public speaking, event coordination, and leadership.

Event Marketing and Sales Assistant Responsibilities

• Represent client brands at events, promotional campaigns, and customer-facing locations throughout Birmingham
• Engage directly with customers and business professionals to introduce products, services, and campaign offers
• Build positive customer relationships by identifying needs and providing personalized solutions
• Support event setup, coordination, execution, and breakdown
• Work alongside the marketing and sales team to execute promotional and outreach strategies
• Assist with customer acquisition, brand awareness, and sales initiatives
• Communicate product and service information clearly and professionally
• Track campaign activity, customer feedback, and performance results
• Assist with follow-ups, scheduling, and basic client coordination
• Stay informed on client products, services, promotions, and campaign objectives
• Contribute ideas to improve customer engagement and campaign performance

Key Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to reliably commute to Birmingham, AL
• Comfortable working in an on-site, customer-facing environment
• Confident communicating with customers and business professionals
• Positive, professional, and willing to learn
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Adaptable in a fast-paced event and sales environment
• Motivated to develop new sales, marketing, and communication skills
• Available to begin within approximately 2–4 weeks
