Your Role:

• Drive Sales & Service: Engage with customers to provide top-notch service and boost our oil business through new and existing accounts.
• Operate with Precision: Use hoses and equipment to efficiently load and offload oil from various containers.
• Ensure Safety: Follow all safety guidelines, inspect your vehicle and equipment, and minimize travel time with efficient route planning.
• Build Relationships: Develop strong customer connections, pursue additional service opportunities, and identify new business prospects.
• Meet Goals: Achieve sales targets and maintain compliance with DOT requirements and company standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and handle hoses weighing up to 40lbs.
• Climb ladders and handle physical tasks related to oil service.
• Administrative duties as assigned
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

The compensation for this role is comprised of a weekly base salary, plus bonuses and uncapped commission. Actual total earnings will vary based on performance and location and may fall outside of the range shown. Average Annual Earnings: $70,000-$85,000 plus a year and includes benefits such as the following:

The Oil Sales and Service Rep (OSSR) will be responsible for providing sales and services of approved waste streams at HCC customer locations. The position frequently uses hoses to load/offload Oil Tanker Trucks from a variety of containers.

The specific duties include engaging in and promoting safe work behaviors, customer service and new business development, aligning work orders to minimize mileage and travel time, inspecting vehicle and equipment for safe operation, delivering service to customers by pumping approved waste streams from customer containers into truck, pursuing additional services with existing accounts, assessing potential customer needs, presenting HCC products and services to customers, developing new customers, developing sales leads for Data-Marketing, completing all required paperwork accurately and neatly, maintaining compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, achieving sales quotas for total revenue and new customer development, adhering to all corporate policies and standards including but not limited to environmental, health, & safety (EHS), human resources, facility, equipment, operations and maintenance, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Core competencies and specific skills include strong communication skills and attention to detail, ability to interact with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departments, and ability to operate equipment such as electronic mobile devices, computers, hoses, all truck equipment, etc.

Work experience preferred includes route sales experience.

Education, certificates, licenses, or designations required include a high school diploma or equivalent, must have or be qualified to obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Med Card with Airbrake and Tanker Endorsement, and motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets or exceeds HCC's published standards including, but not limited to the following: seat belt and cell phone violations, excessive speeding, DUI, suspension and/or multiple vehicle collisions.

Personal protective equipment required includes ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include a respirator, steel toe boots, gloves, uniform, safety glasses, reflective vest, and hard hats.

Physical requirements include frequent lifting of hoses weighing up to 40lbs, frequent climbing of ladders to access approved waste streams, occasionally pulling/dragging of hoses weighing up to 40lbs each, and all applicants must pass the pre-employment physical including drug & alcohol screening.

While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works in a variety of environments, and is required to see, talk, hear, reach, stand, walk, drive frequently, and comfortably use electronic devices and other office equipment. Essential duties require bending, squatting, climbing, lifting and twisting frequently. Noise level in the workplace can vary based upon the work environment.
