Shift: 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Florida license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Required Credentials: Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of at least 80% with only two attempts permitted. Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.

Unit Details: Fast-paced, high-acuity telemetry unit. Specializes in managing patient care for pre- and post-cardiac procedures, including post heart cath, sheath management, electrophysiology interventions, post pacemaker/ICD implants, cardiac drip titrations, post cardiac ablations, and heart blocks/new dysrhythmia onset.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend required. Required holidays will be discussed during interview.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
