Train Engineer-Part Time Position

SHIFT DETAILS:Pay Rate-$42.95Benefits available Day OneReferral BonusPRIMARY FUNCTION: Move the train periodically to ensure it’s operating properly.RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:Perform inspections on the locomotive before and after runsSafely operate the train between stationsMonitor on-board meters and gauges including air pressure, battery charge, amperage, and train speedTroubleshoot minor breakdownsPerform basic train maintenance when requiredIdentify opportunities for improvement, develop improvement, present to appropriate personnel, and lead or participate in the implementation of improvementWear personal protective equipment in all areas where requiredPerform additional relevant duties as assignedSUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:None.
