School Psychologist - Plano, Texas

Make a difference in the lives of Texas students as a contract School Psychologist in the Plano area. This onsite opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 2027 and offers full-time hours with a dynamic schedule supporting approximately three to four campuses. The role focuses on evaluating and supporting students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs, while actively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of educators and families. Interviews are conducted virtually for your convenience. Your Qualifications: Current, active Texas School Psychologist License Demonstrated, recent experience in a school-based psychology setting Proficient in conducting Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs) and managing related caseloads Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to strict deadlines Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, administrators, and families Reliable personal transportation to travel between assigned campuses Fully available for onsite workremote options are not available What You'll Do: Participate in Student Support Team (SST) meetings to advocate for student needs Obtain informed consent and act as case manager for Full Individual Evaluations Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to present evaluation findings Maintain detailed documentation to ensure compliance with state and district procedures Partner with special education staff, administrators, teachers, and families Split your time as assigned across three to four campuses, providing direct onsite services This assignment provides a unique opportunity to use your expertise to have a meaningful impact across multiple educational settings.
