The game is the first true cross-platform MMO, and is playable on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android with more than 350.000 daily players and over 2 million monthly visitors on our website. Your Game

We are looking for an experienced Lead 3D Environment Artist to lead our Environment Art team in creating immersive, stylized high-quality game worlds. In this role, you will combine artistic leadership with hands-on production, guiding the team to deliver visually compelling environments while ensuring assets meet technical requirements, production schedules, and the overall artistic vision of the game.

As the Lead 3D Environment Artist, you will collaborate closely with the Art Direction, Concept Art, Level Design, VFX and Technical Art, Game Design, Production and other disciplines to establish efficient workflows and deliver outstanding player experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the 3D Environment Art team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
• Drive the creation of stylized high-quality 3D assets and environments that align with the project's artistic vision and technical standards
• Review and approve environment assets, ensuring consistency, quality, optimization, and successful in-game implementation
• Collaborate with Art Direction, Feature Owner, Concept Art, Level Design, Game Design, Technical Art, and other disciplines to deliver engaging and narratively rich game environments
• Establish and maintain efficient environment art workflows, pipelines, documentation, and best practices
• Partner with Production to plan priorities, coordinate team deliverables, and ensure milestones are met
• Identify production risks, resolve environment art issues, and continuously improve team processes and asset quality
• Support the growth and development of the team through recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback while promoting a culture of continuous learning

Your Talent

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional experience in 3D environment art for games, including experience leading or mentoring artists
• Strong portfolio showcasing stylized high-quality 3D environment assets, environment compositions, stylized textures and visual storytelling
• Expertise with industry-standard 3D tools and modern game engines (e.g., Blender, Maya, Photoshop, Unreal Engine, Unity)
• Deep understanding of 3D stylized modeling, environment visual composition and narrative, real-time asset implementations and stylized textures creation
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to foster an inclusive, collaborative, and respectful team environment, with strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and cultural awareness
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience shipping successful MMO or live-service games
• Experience leading or mentoring an art team and being responsible for an art production pipeline
• Knowledge of 3D stylized modelling, visual narrative, level art or world building, real time game engines and tools such as Substance Designer or Photoshop.
• Experience improving environment art pipelines and collaborating with Production, Level Design and Technical Art
