You will help people protect their homes, vehicles, businesses, families, and financial security while building a book of business that can produce income for years to come. This is a 100% commission-based sales position with no base salary. Your income is driven by your effort and production, with no commission ceiling. You will also be able to focus on building relationships and writing new business. Brightway’s internal service team handles ongoing policy servicing and back-end support, giving you more time to connect with clients, grow your referral network, and increase your production. Most importantly, you will be building something of your own. Every policy you write can become part of a growing book of business, and eligible policies may generate recurring renewal commissions year after year. What You’ll Do Talk with individuals, families, and business owners about what matters most to them Help clients understand their risks and make confident coverage decisions Quote and bind homeowners, auto, flood, liability, and other available insurance products Compare options across Brightway’s extensive carrier network Build trusted, long‑term relationships with clients Develop referral partnerships and pursue new sales opportunities Grow a personal book of business and recurring renewal income Meet a minimum monthly production requirement after your ramp-up period You do not need to be a pushy salesperson to succeed here. We are looking for someone who listens well, cares about people, follows through, and is willing to work consistently toward meaningful goals. Your Income Potential Commissions are calculated as a percentage of the commission paid to the agency by the insurance carrier. Commissions are paid twice monthly. Based on current agency averages of a $2,025 policy premium and a 12% carrier commission rate , estimated commissions are: New business: 65% of carrier commission—or approximately $158 per average policy written Rewritten policies: 15% of carrier commission—or approximately $36 per average policy rewritten Renewals: 10% of carrier commission—or approximately $24 per average policy renewed Illustrative First-Year Earnings Based on the agency averages above: 4 policies per week: approximately $32,800 per year 8 policies per week: approximately $65,700 per year 12 policies per week: approximately $98,600 per year As your book of business grows, your income potential can grow with it. In your second year and beyond, eligible policies from previous years may begin generating renewal commissions—meaning you can earn from both new sales and the business you have already built. There is no set ceiling on commission earnings. Actual earnings vary based on sales volume, premiums, carrier commission rates, policy mix, retention, and other factors. These figures are illustrations and are not guarantees of income. Grow Into a Leadership Opportunity Agents who build their personal book to $1,000,000 in gross written premium may become eligible to recruit another licensed agent and earn agency‑paid overrides on that agent’s production. Eligible overrides include: New business: 5% of carrier commission Rewritten policies: 2.5% of carrier commission Renewals: 2.5% of carrier commission These overrides are paid by the agency in addition to the recruited agent’s full commission. If a recruited agent leaves the agency, their book may transfer to the recruiting agent, who may then become eligible for the applicable 10% renewal commission on retained policies, subject to agency terms and policy retention. This creates the opportunity to grow beyond your own production, mentor another agent, and build an additional stream of recurring income. Who We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Hold an active Florida 20-44 or 2-20 insurance license Genuinely enjoy helping people Want to build an excellent income through your own effort Are warm, professional, and confident when speaking with clients Listen carefully and explain complicated information in a simple way Are motivated by goals and comfortable being accountable for results Follow up consistently and do what you say you will do Want to build a long‑term career rather than simply collect a paycheck Thrive when given independence, flexibility, and ownership You must be able to meet a minimum production target of $20,000 in written premium per month after a three‑month ramp‑up period. You must also provide your own computer equipment that meets Brightway’s technology requirements.
